Safeguarding remains our key priority and we continue to ensure that it is embedded across all of our activities.

An integral part of this is ensuring that a child-focused approach is at the heart of all that we do. 

To achieve this, we will:

• Ensure that we continue to achieve The FA’s safeguarding operating standards
• Continue to support club welfare officers to ensure that the grassroots game is safe
• Increase the number of validation visits within the grassroots game

Listening to the voices of young people is key to ensuring we have a game that is safe for all participants. We will continue to work with our Kent FA Youth Council in developing this area. 

Kent FA is led by the Football Association’s rules, regulations and guidance. The FA provides online material to support with safeguarding at grassroots club, which can be explored here.
