In a bid to shine the light on Kent’s inspirational volunteers in the grassroots game, we are excited to announce that two local awards are now open for nominations.

The Digital Club of The Year sponsored by Sleeping Giant Media, and the Colin Boswell Young Referee of The Year Award are set to celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions in their respective domains.

With the increasing prominence of digital platforms in the grassroots game, the Digital Club of the Year sponsored by Sleeping Giant Media aims to honor the clubs that have demonstrated creativity, engagement from stakeholders, and impact within their club. From engaging spectators and parents/carers to recruiting volunteers and players to unite with their local community, this award seeks to spotlight clubs that have embraced the digital revolution to enhance their club operations and connect with their audience on a deeper level.  

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Tuesday 30th April.

The Colin Boswell Young Referee of The Year Award

Referees play a crucial role in ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of the beautiful game. The Colin Boswell Referee of the Year Award seeks to recognise the remarkable contributions of Kent's young referees (14-21 years) who have who go above and beyond, showing dedication, passion, and commitment to the game. 

This award not only celebrates the talents of young referees but also aims to inspire the next generation of match officials to pursue excellence in their craft and make a positive impact on the Kent game. 

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Tuesday 30th April.

We invite all our stakeholders from across Kent football to nominate some candidates who exemplify these awards. The winners will be selected by a panel of experts and announced at the Kent FA Grassroots Awards 2024, on 11 July 2024.
