Kent FA unveils End of Season Review 2023-24
As we complete and review another fantastic season, we are pleased to announce the release of our End-Of-Season Review for 2023/24.
This comprehensive report highlights our achievements, growth, and strategic initiatives over the last year from across the Kent game, providing valuable insights into our future strategy, which we plan to launch shortly.
"The 2023-2024 season was the last of our 2021-2024 Play, Protect, Promote Strategy, which has seen us meet and exceed many of the targets within that strategy. Over the past three years, we have supported grassroots football facilities through £11.34 million of investment, grown participation across all areas of the game with significant growth in the female game and continued to provide trusted and transparent regulation.
"A highly motivated staff has driven delivery of our work against these targets, and over the past season, we have been able to increase our headcount to ensure that we are servicing the needs of Kent football, ensuring that the game is administered in line with FA regulations.
"Safeguarding remains central to everything we do, and we are working hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all who wish to play the game in Kent. Key to this is the work that our club and league Welfare Officers undertake, and through their support, we are making great strides in ensuring that football in Kent is safe and enjoyable for our young people.
"We extend our gratitude to our players, volunteers, match officials, coaches, parents, and caregivers for being part of this incredible journey with us. As we prepare to launch a new strategy for 2024/28, we are excited about the opportunities that lie before us. We remain committed to developing all areas of the game in Kent," said Darryl Haden, CEO of Kent FA.
