Kent FA shortlisted for 2023 County FA Recognition Award
The Kent Football Association has been successfully shortlisted for the Brand Engagement award at the 2023 County FA Recognition Awards for the Kent Football Show.
The Awards, which will be announced at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Thursday 23 November 2023, recognise and endorse the best projects, products, and services delivered by County FAs over the past season while sharing best practice and learnings from around the country.
A record-breaking 242 submissions have been entered from the 50 County FAs operating across England, highlighting continuous improvements, and showcasing how they are innovating to improve grassroots football and increase participation across all levels of the game.
The twelve categories which will be recognised at the awards are:

- Employee Wellbeing & Engagement
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Facility Development
- Football Development
- Partnership
- Positive Football Environment
- Referee Development
- Special recognition
- Women & Girls
- Youth Engagement
About The Kent Football Show
Kent FA has made the final shortlist for the Brand Engagement award for The Kent Football Show. The Kent Football Show is a bi-monthly YouTube show, presented by talkSport and Sky Sports presenter Kweku Afari, to give the Kent grassroots football community a voice as they become the stars of the show, talking about the incredible work they carry out to develop and grow the game in Kent.
Since the show launched in January 2023, and at the time of writing, we have:
- Enjoyed 10,539 YouTube video views
- 24,346 impressions
- 363 hours watched
- Featured a combination of 34 clubs, leagues, volunteers & match officials
- 125 new subscribers to the Kent FA YouTube channel

The idea behind the show was to give our Kent football community a voice and shine a light on the beautiful game from across Kent.
