The Football Foundation’s Grow the Game funding programme provides funding for projects to create new football teams. Funding of £1500is available for each new team created and applications are welcome from organisations that are 'not for profit' and planning to set up one or more new football teams over the next two years.

The focus of the Grow the Game funding is into the creation of teams within the following formats:

• Adult Football teams
• Girls and Ladies Football Teams
• Disability Football Teams
• Youth Football Teams (U14+)
