How can I continue to develop as a coach whilst all grassroots football activity is postponed?
Kent FA will continue to support all key stakeholders during this time, including coaches. Online CPD can be accessed through FA Learning and The Boot Room with additional resources on Hive Learning.
Kent FA are working with our FA Affiliate Tutors to devise a resource list aligned to the England DNA for all coaches to access to continue developing whilst grassroots football is suspended. Moreover, County Coach Developer, Simon Millington, will be leading a series of online workshops.
Our league has suspended all matches following the FA’s announcement, can we arrange our own matches?
Grassroots football has been postponed until further notice to support with social distancing. As a result of the FA’s announcement, UK Global, providers of Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance policies to affiliated Kent FA clubs will not provide cover for any footballing activities for the foreseeable future.
Grassroots football has been postponed, but does this include training sessions?
Grassroots football has been postponed until further notice to support with social distancing, this is inclusive of training.
Grassroots football has been postponed, but does this mean I can still deliver 1-2-1 coaching?
To support social distancing, all grassroots football activity, inclusive of any face-to-face coaching sessions should be postponed until the Government and Football Association advise it is safe to do so. As a result of the stance taken by the Government and Football Association, insurance policies from UK Global, providers of Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance will not provide cover for any footballing activities for the foreseeable future.

My course has been postponed because of COVID-19?
If your course was affected, Kent FA will prioritise the rearrangement of postponed courses when it is safe to do so.
When will I be able to book onto a Kent FA course?
All Kent FA Coach/Referee Education has been postponed for the foreseeable future due to coronavirus, in order to avoid non-essential social gatherings and support social-distancing. Kent FA courses will be available for booking when it is safe to do so and postponed courses have been rearranged.
