Safeguarding

Our Safeguarding Promise & Policies

Safeguarding remains our key priority and we continue to ensure that it is embedded across all of our activities.

An integral part of this is ensuring that a child focused approach is at the heart of all that we do.

To achieve this, we will:

  • Ensure that we continue to achieve The FA’s safeguarding operating standards
  • Continue to support club welfare officers to ensure that the grassroots game is safe
  • Increase the number of validation visits within the grassroots game

Listening to the voice of young people is key to ensuring we have a game that is safe for all participants. We will continue to work with our Youth Council in developing this area.
