Kent FA Pitches Cup
Kent FA Pitches Cup
Think you’ve got a good grass pitch? Enter the cup!
Grounds teams are often overlooked for the work they do throughout the week to get grassroots football pitches in great condition for players at the weekend. So here is the chance to highlight the good work done. The Kent FA Pitches Cup will showcase the best pitches in Kent by pitting each pitch entered into a fixture against another pitch in the county.
Just like the FA Cup, it’s a straight knockout. If you win, you go through to the next round; if you lose, you are out.
The way to win is to get as many votes against your pitch as possible. So it’s worth sharing it with your club and getting them to vote, as well as their friends and family, to give you the best chance of getting to the final and your pitch being crowned the best in Kent.
The rules are simple: the pitch must be in Kent (including Bromley and Bexley if the site is used by a Kent FA-affiliated club) and must not be a pitch used in the National League System Steps 1-6 or the Women’s Football Pyramid Tier 1-4.
