All 3G pitches require testing and certification to be listed as approved for match play on The FA 3G Pitch Register. You can view the register on the Football Foundation website here and see the status of the pitches be it approved, expiring soon, or expired. Just select ‘Kent’ from the drop-down ‘search by County FA’ box.
Pitches used in either Step 1-6 of the National League System or Tier 1-4 of the Women’s Football Pyramid will need to have FIFA approved testing every season. For all other pitches, the FA approved test will need to be undertaken every three years. If a pitch doesn’t pass its test, remedial work may be required to take place in order for it to pass. In which case, the next step would be to contact our 3G Pitch Maintenance Partner, Technical Surfaces.
