The Kent FA Volunteering Heroes campaign provides an opportunity for volunteers across Kent to receive a well-deserved recognition and thanks for their contributions to football in the community.

Volunteers play a pivotal role in grassroots football, ensuring that games can go ahead, supporting players, and fostering the growth of the sport at all levels. Whether they’re setting up training sessions, managing teams, or supporting behind the scenes, these individuals are the lifeblood of our clubs and leagues.

We want to recognise and reward this hard work because volunteers make football possible. Their dedication helps sustain the sport, create a welcoming environment, and develop players both on and off the pitch. It’s their passion and commitment that enable football to thrive. Without their efforts, many players wouldn’t have the opportunity to play and grow in the game they love.

How can someone win a recognition package?

We aim to reward 50 volunteers across the season and showcase these incredible individuals across our digital channels. 

To receive a recognition package:

• The individual must be recognised on the FA Club/Competition Portal as someone holding a volunteering role at a club or league. (If you are a volunteer for your club or league, please contact your secretary to ensure you are recognised on the system.)
• The individual must volunteer at an accredited club or league.

Accredited Club Voucher Giveaway

In support of International Volunteering Day on the 5th of December 2024, we will be giving away three £100 vouchers for clubs to spend on kit and equipment! This will be distributed to a 1*, 2*, and 3* accredited club. 

The chance to win is based on the number of volunteers registered on the club portal, with each volunteer acting as an entry into the draw. Winners will be announced on the 5th of December!

This giveaway is a way of recognising clubs that encourage and facilitate volunteering, which is vital to their success.
