Introducing our PitchPower Mentors

Supporting you to start your pitch improvement journey.

As of the start of September we now have PitchPower Mentors who will be able to support you with your very first PitchPower assessment to enable you to undertake the twice yearly assessments for your sites for yourself.

This service is free of charge and can be accessed by clubs, leagues, local authorities and education establishments.

PitchPower is a web app which enables you to submit data regarding your pitch to the Grounds Management Association who will build a bespoke report for you offering advice specific to your site on the maintenance operations to undertake to improve the quality of your pitches.

Once you have the report you can apply for funding from the Football Foundation to help with the cost of the maintenance operations for the next six seasons. There is up to £12,800 per pitch available. No lease or licence is required in order to access this funding.

We have four PitchPower Mentors who will be covering a number of areas across the county.

  • Zone 1 – Ricky Adams – Bexley, Bromley, Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks
  • Zone 2 – Ryan Abrahall – Medway, Swale, Tonbridge & Malling, Maidstone
  • Zone 3 – Dan Mathieson – Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Folkestone & Hythe
  • Zone 4 – Jeanette Brown – Canterbury, Thanet, Dover
