Kent Female Volunteer Forum is back for 2024-25

Uniting, Supporting and Inspiring Kent Volunteers.

Last week, we held our first female volunteer forum of the season, welcoming volunteers from across the county to Ballerz, Bluewater.

kent fa female volunteer forumThe event, led by Rebecca Moore, Football Development Officer (Women & Girls), provides a platform for female volunteers from different club and league roles to have their voices heard in a safe and inclusive environment, a key part of the Kent Female Volunteer Forum, kindly supported by BAE Systems.

During the Forum, volunteers engaged in interactive conversations and activities, sharing their unique stories, challenges, and areas of the game where they needed support. This diverse range of experiences created a strong sense of community and shared purpose.

The Kent Female Volunteer Forum, supported by BAE Systems, has been developed to provide a voice for female volunteers. It offers a supportive network to meet like-minded women at inspirational events featuring female leaders within their specialist areas of the beautiful game.

"We believe that volunteers are the heartbeat of our Kent football community", said Rebecca Moore, Football Development Officer (Women & Girls).

"The first event was our way of hearing the voices from those heavily involved in the game to decide on the theme for the year, which will guide us on how best to support and celebrate the successes of our female volunteers in Kent. This year is all about "Knowing Your Value", which will form the basis of our upcoming events, where we will continue to support over 120 female volunteers across the Forum."
