Cerebral Palsy Recreational Football Sessions to Launch in Kent
Kent FA is pleased to announce the launch of new recreational football sessions
Kent FA is pleased to announce the launch of a new recreational football sessions for those aged 6-16 with cerebral palsy, which are being run by Baypoint Football Club and are being supported by Cerebral Palsy Sport. The sessions are for those with cerebral palsy who are both ambulant and frame users.
The first session starts on the 26th March from 12-1pm and will run from every Saturday after at the same time and venue, which is Baypoint FC, Baypoint, Ramsgate Road, Sandwich, Kent, CT13 9QL. Sessions will be on the multi-surface pitch.

Toby Elgar Football Development Officer (Inclusion) at Kent FA said, “we are delighted to launch these new sessions for those with cerebral palsy, as it is another step towards our goal as a county of increasing impairment specific opportunities within Kent football. We have been working closely with our friends at Cerebral Palsy Sport and Baypoint Football Club to get the sessions off the ground since the start of the season, and Baypoint have worked hard to secure funding and facilitate the sessions. We can’t wait to see the sessions start”.
